Family

Family reunions that aren't family reunions are nice. :-)

I've been thinking about getting an etsy site to sell some of my more "fine art" type of photography. Good luck with your endeavor.

[this is good]

Glad your family gets to meet your son!

I was actually contemplating making some sort of a map of my neighbors. I know they are spread out across the US (and farther), but I thought it would be so neat to see it visually.

I'm from Sacramento, CA. :)

i also do not get to see my extended family that much so i always appreciate the time i do get to spend with them. and what fun it will be for all of them to meet noah!

i'm in hartford, CT!
Wow...I wish I felt so positive about our family reunions. We've got to go to DeWitte's nieces wedding in NC this weekend and are trying to figure out how to skip out early. Not at we don't want to go to the wedding, we just don't want to spend that much time with his siblings.

We're in Norfolk, VA.
I'd like to see your Etsy account. Are you listed there yet?

We watched "Dan in Real Life" last year, and it made both Nick and I really sad, because neither of us have families like that. He's really close with his parents, but his siblings, not so much. I'm not so close with my parents, probably closest to my siblings, but even then only see them a few times a year - even though they're only an hour away.

My sister wants us to see more of them, so that her kids get to know their family better than we knew our aunts and uncles, which I can understand. I think it is different when you have kids of your own - the older generations want to meet the newer ones (and tell you where you're going wrong!!!).

Both Nick and I feel that if/when we do have kids, we want to instill them with some really strong traditions so that we can have that closer family that we don't have with our own siblings.

Hope you enjoy your weekend---Nashville, TN
